Lisbon trip plan
Hilly, sunlit and walkable, with tram rides, tiled facades and Atlantic beaches a short train away.
Day by day
- Day 1
Arrive and get your bearings
Check in near Baixa & Chiado, buy a local SIM or eSIM, and take an easy walk around your neighbourhood to learn the area.
- Day 2
Beach day
Head to the nearest beach early to claim a spot, bring water and sun protection, and swim only where lifeguards are posted. Bring shoes with grip; the limestone pavements get slick.
- Day 3
Old town and landmarks
Start early in Baixa & Chiado and walk the historic core before tour groups arrive. Book timed tickets for the busiest sights a few days ahead.
- Day 4
Museums and neighbourhoods
Pick one major museum in the morning, then spend the afternoon exploring Príncipe Real on foot.
- Day 5
Last morning and departure
