Pick one major museum in the morning, then spend the afternoon exploring Downtown Kawaramachi on foot.

Markets and local food
Visit a morning market, then book a food tour or cooking class to learn what Kyoto is known for. Eat where locals queue.
- Day 5
Last morning and departure
Pick up souvenirs, leave buffer time for transport to the airport or station, and keep your documents handy.
